A Brief Update on Production

Hello everyone, Selius here once more. This will be a quicker update than most, but I figure it's worth touching base.
Production is still ongoing for Woodlander! There are no major snags, everything is going well. It's simply going slower than we had originally anticipated when launching the campaign. Granted, we weren't expecting sudden tariffs to disrupt the usual supply chain - I don't think anyone had that on their radar. Our manufacturing partners have been slower than usual, in large part due to that surprise.
As a result, I'm afraid we won't receive everything in time for a June fulfillment of all the physical stuff, and we will instead need to look towards July for sending packages to everyone. Along those lines, we will still wait until then to push the Backerkit pledge manager forward and collect for shipping. And as a reminder, any digital content included in your pledge is available via your survey on Backerkit.
I apologize for the delay; we're ultimately at the mercy of the printers and manufacturers at this stage. I am very excited to show you pictures of everything just as soon as we get our hands on it! And hopefully, I will have those very soon indeed.

While some of these titles are mentioned in the introduction to Woodlander’s rulebook, I thought I’d put together a list of materials that served as the basis for its setting, lore, and game mechanics: my own Appendix N for those familiar with Dungeons and Dragons and its inspirations.
Many of you may already be familiar with one or more of these series. Maybe I can convince you to revisit an old favorite, or maybe I’ve piqued your interest enough to try something new. Either way, may this collection of books, comics, and games help inspire adventures of your own.

Mice Templar

Karic the mouse seeks to rescue his family from slavery and save his people from rat oppression. Karic aims to reunite the legendary Mice Templar, a knightly order that has fallen into civil war and is despised by the creatures they were supposed to protect.
Mouse Guard
The Mouse Guard is an order of mice dedicated to protecting their communities and upholding their moral code. Three members of the Guard, Saxon, Kenzie, and the young Lieam are tasked with finding a missing grain merchant. The plot thickens as they uncover a plan to overthrow the Guard and must race against time to prevent civil war.
Redwall
The peaceful Redwall Abbey is threatened by the evil Cluny the Scourge and his rat army. The young novice mouse, Matthias, embarks on a quest to find the legendary sword of Redwall's founder, Martin the Warrior, which he believes will help defend the abbey. Guided by visions of Martin, Matthias solves riddles, faces dangers, and braves the wilderness to accomplish this quest before Cluny conquers his home and enslaves his friends.
Tails of Iron
Prince Redgi wins a trial by combat to become the rightful heir to the throne. However, his victory is cut short when the Frog Clan, a brutal and bloodthirsty race, invades and destroys the kingdom, killing Redgi's father. Redgi must then rally his people and take on the Frog Clan to avenge his father, rescue his family, and rebuild his kingdom.
Urchin of the Riding Stars

Pledge Surveys Inbound!

Hello all!
Selius here, back with another update for you. In the next couple hours, we'll be sending out the bulk of the Backerkit surveys for Woodlander. Some of you may have already received your survey—and by some, I mean precisely 5%. Everything looks good on our side, so we're ready for the next step!
As noted before, these pledge surveys will collect your shipping information, allow you to enter your credit/debit card info for shipping, and also offer an opportunity to pre-order any add-ons from the Woodlander campaign. It should be pretty smooth, but as always, please just reach out if you encounter any troubles. I'll be more than happy to help, and you can reach me by email via [email protected]!
Something to note: Backerkit will only store your address and payment info, but it will not actually charge your card yet. Specifically, it will wait until we're close to shipping everything out before it automatically charges cards. Until then, you have time to adjust your survey/pre-orders or change your shipping details. I intend to collect shipping funds only after all the goods are ready be shipped to our office for fulfillment.
If you would like to charge your card early for any reason, I can make that happen manually, so don't be afraid to reach out. Lastly, you should be able to access your digital downloads immediately after completing your survey.
That's all for now, but you can expect to hear from me again soon. Later this week, I want to give you a timeline for fulfillment, which has hitherto been rather difficult due to the global tumult surrounding manufacturing and freight. With any luck, we'll have a period of stability moving forward, after a lot of uncertainty. One can hope!

The Woodlander Community Discord Is Now Open!

Alex here.
I've been asked several times whether Woodlander has a dedicated Discord community server. Well, now it does!
There, you can socialize with fellow backers and fans. Now that the PDFs of the rulebook have been made available, you can create some characters and set off on adventures of your own while we're all waiting for the physical merchandise to be produced and shipped. More news on that should come soon.
I will continue to maintain my private playtesting server to host personal campaigns as well as to develop any future Woodlander material. I won't be quite as active or hands-on in the community server, but I will be available to provide advice and clarification to those who need it.
Enjoy yourselves and have fun playing Woodlander!

Hello everyone! This is Selius, once more here to bring you some important info regarding pledge surveys and getting your digital goods right now.
Backerkit, Pledge Manager, and Surveys
Firstly, on the Pledge Manager front: you can expect to receive your Backerkit surveys next week. This is my current estimate, and it is subject to change from outside factors. At this very moment, we're merely waiting for all the Kickstarter funds to drop for Alex—the pledge manager is fully set up, we just need to pay the pledge manager fee and then submit for review. It should be quick and painless once the folks at Backerkit take a look. This isn't our first rodeo!
In the meantime, the Backerkit Pre-Order store is up and functional now. You can find it right here! This is primarily for folks who missed the chance to pledge for stuff during the campaign. For those of you who already backed, your survey will also offer all of the Woodlander add-ons!
Woodlander Digital Edition
For those who pledged for at tier that included the digital book, you can access it right now! Originally, we were going to wait for Backerkit surveys for digital distribution, and we will still offer that too. But if you wanna get your paws on the PDF sooner, we have a solution.
Kickstarter backers can claim Woodlander on itch.io by clicking this hyperlink!
Likewise, pledges that included the adventure module, A Missing Maiden, can claim it here!
The one requirement is you'll need an itch.io account to claim your book(s), and you need to use the same email address as your Kickstarter backer account. This is because your individual download keys are connected to that email address. It's the most secure way to get these out early. Additionally, once you claim a book, it will remain in your itch.io library permanently! So you won't have to worry about losing your files.
This is all optional; you'll have the opportunity to get your digital goods through your backer survey, too. Purely opt-in for those ready to start playing ASAP!
